General Dynamics Wins Army Ground Mobility Vehicle, Kit Supply Contract

General Dynamics’ ordnance and tactical systems business has won a one-year, $14.4M contract to provide ground mobility vehicles and related kits to the U.S. Army.

Army Contracting Command received three proposals for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet and the military service will determine funds and work locations upon issuance of orders, the Defense Department said Friday.

GD-OTS will perform work through Nov. 16, 2019.

The company secured a $33.8M contract in May to build Army Ground Mobility Vehicles and delivered the first A-GMV unit to the service branch nearly five months later.

A-GMV is designed to carry up to nine paratroopers and more than 5K pounds of payload.
