Everbridge has received approval from the Defense Information Systems Agency to offer defense agencies a suite of cloud-based technology products designed to facilitate communications in the event of a critical situation.

DISA granted a provisional authorization at impact level 2 to the company’s mass notification, incident communications and information alerting systems, Everbridge said Monday.

The PA also offers a reusable certification to demonstrate compliance with the Defense Department‘s Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide.

Everbridge CEO Jaime Ellertson said the authorization would allow DoD organizations to leverage the company-built Critical Event Management platform in efforts to prevent system disruptions and protect warfighters.

The company also holds certification under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to offer products to the federal government.
