Shawn Moore, former commander of detachment 6 at the U.S. Air Force‘s Installation and Mission Support Center, has been named program director for Woolpert’s military market area.
Woolpert said Friday the retired Air Force colonel will oversee efforts to secure U.S. military base support projects in both domestic and international locations in his new role.
He will also manage the firm’s current contracts with the Air Force’s Special Operations Command, Civil Engineer Center and Reserve Command.
In his previous capacity, Moore supported the design, construction, planning and maintenance of eight Air Force Materiel Command installations.
He retired from the military this fall after 27 years of service.
