John Hamilton, program manager of operations at the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, has tweeted that IBM‘s collaboration platform became the 100th cloud service offering to receive FedRAMP approval, Federal Times reported Wednesday.

IBM Connections is designed to support business email, instant messaging, web conferencing and social business networking, file sharing, online document editing and archiving.

The company also obtained a 12-month provisional authorization from the Defense Information Systems Agency to host impact-level 5 data through the SmartCloud for Government infrastructure-as-a-service platform.
