The U.S. Coast Guard plans to host an event on May 2 to gain insight into commercial technology offerings and discuss the military branch’s anticipated requirements for the next fiscal year.

USCG said Monday its industry day will take place at the Telecommunication and Information Systems Command facility in Alexandria, Virginia, and will include question-and-answer sessions about contracting opportunities posted on the Department of Homeland Security‘s Acquisition Planning Forecast System.

The service branch expects to attract both large and small companies to the event.
