A Teledyne Technologies subsidiary has received a potential $45.7 million task order to provide system modeling and simulation tools for the U.S. Army‘s missile defense program.
Teledyne Brown Engineering will provide its Extended Air Defense Simulation platform to the service branch under the task order from the Army Space and Missile Defense Command, the company said Friday.
EADSIM is designed to help operational commanders, trainers and analysts model and assess multiple defense systems built for air, space and missile warfare operations.
Teledyne Brown Engineering has helped customers maintain the simulation software since the platform reached initial operational capability in 1989.
SMDC awarded the order through the Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration Domain 1 contract.
