ViON to Support DISA Transition to Azure Govt Cloud

ViON has received a three-year, $1.4 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to support the agency’s transition to Microsoft‘s Azure government cloud.

Herndon, Virginia-based ViON said Thursday it will deliver a capacity as-a-service platform; manage the Joint Interoperability Test Command’s public cloud migration; and test hardware in a secure environment under the contract.

DISA issued the award through NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-wide Procurement V government-wide acquisition contract.

Herndon, Virginia-based ViON offers information technology system design, delivery and maintenance.
