Gay Porter, vice president of the technical solutions group at Engility, has been selected to receive a Washington Business Journal award that honors influential C-level executives in the Greater Washington area.

The Business Journal will recognize Porter with the publication’s 2017 Chief Technology Officer C-Suite Award at a ceremony scheduled to take place Dec. 7 at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Engility CEO Lynn Dugle said in a statement published Monday the award reflects Porter’s personal accomplishments and mentoring skills.

“[Porter] stays up to date on the latest technology and anticipates the direction of the industry. Her strategic leadership of her team has driven technical innovation and program growth across Engility,” Dugle added.
