Data Systems Analysts has won a spot on a potential 10-year, $8.27 billion multiple-award contract from the U.S. Army to support research and development of defense measures against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats.
DSA said it will work to help the service branch develop CBRNE defense systems and equipment through the Joint Enterprise Research, Development, Acquisition and Production and Procurement program.
The company also seeks to offer materiel to the Army in accordance with defense acquisition policies, procedures and guidelines.
Fran Pierce, DSA president and CEO, said the contract presents additional opportunity for the company to offer technology platforms and services to government customers and the country’s warfighters.
JE RDAP task orders cover materiel development decision, materiel solution analysis, technical maturation, risk reduction, production and deployment activities found in the “Operation of the Defense Acquisition System” manual.
The Defense Department unveiled 170 awardees on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in early November.
