Tetra Tech has received a four-year, $24 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from to support the U.S. Agency for International Development‘s efforts to accelerate adoption of clean energy services throughout Central Asia.

The company said Thursday it will assist USAID and the agency’s Central Asian country partners to implement sustainable energy services in the region that are competitive with common retail and wholesale prices there.

Under the Power the Future Activity Contract, the company will conduct pilot studies of renewable energy practices and explore methods to integrate energy grid connections.

Tetra Tech added it will formulate regulations to help Central Asian governments attract renewable energy and energy efficiency investments.
