The U.S. Navy seeks industry white papers on technologies that can help address the service branch’s irregular, expeditionary and special warfare needs.

The Navy said Wednesday in a broad agency announcement posted on FedBizOpps that it may request proposals from selected offerors and award contracts if funds are available.

Interested participants must provide information on technologies in the areas of mine warfare, naval special warfare and Navy expeditionary combat.

Proposed technologies should accommodate rapid insertion into the Department of Navy’s program of record or other acquisition programs as well as require less than $750,000 in annual development costs.

The Navy wants technologies that can aid cross-domain special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, direct action, irregular warfare, foreign internal defense and other urgent mission needs.

The BAA is open for responses until Aug 1, 2018.
