The Defense Department‘s Rapid Reaction Technology Office will hold an event in October in McLean, Virginia to give selected companies an opportunity to showcase technology platforms in the cyber domain.

DoD said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday it may select companies for pilot projects or experimentation during the Solutions Meeting if their technology offerings meet the department’s cyber needs.

The department seeks new platforms in the areas of autonomous cyber defense; cyber situational awareness, planning, decision support; cybersecurity for infrastructure, endpoints and edge devices; internet of things security and hardware and software assurance.

Interested companies can submit applications until Aug. 8, 2017.
