ASRC Federal‘s mission solutions business unit has received Maturity Level 5 rating under the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development framework.
The appraiser, Integrated System Diagnostics, did not discover weaknesses in AFMS’ operations and had no major recommendations for change, AFMS said Thursday.
ASRC Federal has operated at CMMI Level 5 for more than 15 years.
Joe Buss, vice president of AFMS, said the company’s re-appraisal at Level 5 serves as a validation of its engineering team.
Beltsville, Maryland-headquartered ASRC Federal offers engineering, information technology, infrastructure support, professional and technical services to U.S. civil, defense and intelligence agencies.
