Galois has established a new office in Dayton, Ohio, as part of the company’s commitment to help drive technology innovation in the state and expand support offerings to  commercial and defense clients.

The company said Friday it aims to begin operations at the 3,000-square-foot facility in early summer as well as expand relationships with research organizations and commercial transition partners in the area.

Galois also seeks engineers, researchers, principal investigators and other professionals who can help the company develop automotive, avionics, financial services, healthcare and smart city platforms.

“Ohio has made cyber security a state level priority, and Dayton’s commitment to supporting innovation makes the city the ideal fit to launch Galois’ third U.S. office,” said Aaron Miller, director of Galois’ business strategy and operations in Dayton.

The Ohio-based Air Force Research Laboratory awarded a $750,000 grant to Galois in January to develop a cybersecurity technology that would mislead actors who monitor network activities.
