CenturyLink has received a 10-year contract to offer cloud and managed services to state and local government agencies that participate in the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Organization.

The company said Wednesday the NASPO ValuePoint Cloud Solutions Master Agreement is awarded to cloud service providers with offerings that meet security and data protection standards.

Marty Leavengood, a CenturyLink vice president, said the company can sell various cloud services to the public sector such as infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service through the master agreement.

NASPO ValuePoint is a Utah-led multi-state cooperative procurement organization that gives participating state agencies and their authorized political subdivisions access to cloud offerings.
