Academi Training Center has won a potential $10 million indefinite/delivery-indefinite/quantity contract for turnkey antiterrorism training services to the U.S. Navy‘s Center for Security Forces.

The contract has a $9.1 million base value over five years and a six-month option, the Defense Department said Friday.

Work will occur in Groton, Connecticut and in San Diego, California.

The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department obligated $10,000 at the time of award from the Navy’s fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.

The military branch received two offers for the contract via a solicitation posted on the FedBizOpps website.

Academi is a subsidiary of Constellis Group, a global security services contractor that was acquired  in August by a group of the company’s executive team members and investors that include Apollo Global Management.
