PFP CybersecurityPFP Cybersecurity has launched a monitoring and security tool for data center router racks intended to help counter malware attacks against enterprises.

The new offering features a portable unit for regular cyber scans and a rack-mount monitoring unit that prevents operational disruptions during security checks, PFP Cybersecurity said Monday.

PFP will use the tool to detect attacks such as the SYNful Knock implant in Cisco routers in a demonstration slated for the Black Hat 2016 conference.

“PFP has recently tested its product against enterprise router attacks such as SYNful Knock identified by FireEye,” said Thurston Brooks, vice president of product marketing at PFP.

PFP’s services also work to detect insider threats and continuous attacks against critical infrastructure and connected device.
