Draeger Medical, Nobel Biocare Awarded DLA Supply Contract Funds

healthcareDraeger Medical and Nobel Biocare have received separate awards from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide medical and dental supplies for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.

The Defense Department said Monday Draeger secured a potential $57.3 million modification that exercises the second of nine one-year option periods of a contract that covers patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables, spare or repair parts and training.

Nobel Biocare will provide dental supplies under a potential $40 million contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, DoD said.

DLA Troop Support received 19 offers for the contract.

Draeger will perform work in Pennsylvania through Aug. 5, 2017, while Nobel Biocare will conduct work in California through July 31, 2021.

Nobel Biocare is a Switzerland-headquartered company that offers dental implant systems, prosthetics, treatment planning, guided surgery and biomaterials.

Draeger offers medical and safety technology for a range of applications such as clinical, industrial, mining, firefighting and rescue services.
