Warren King, former chief executive officer of the Australian Defense Materiel Organization, has joined the international advisory board of Northrop Grumman.

King was recently responsible for the organization’s projects and commercial programs that include maintenance and supply initiatives for Australia’s military, Northrop said Wednesday.

David Perry, vice president and chief global business development officer at Northrop, said the company will work with King to further develop Northrop’s global expansion efforts.

The 35-year defense sector veteran previously served on a combat systems engineering post at the Australian navy before he held senior managerial positions at small businesses in the country as well as large multinational companies.
