Abacus Technology to Help Secure C4 Networks at Kirtland AF Base

NavyC5ISRAbacus Technology has landed a potential $25.7 million contract to provide command, control, communications and computer services to an Air Force facility in New Mexico.

The Defense Department said Monday that Abacus Technology will support network monitoring and the implementation of security tools and patches for Kirtland Air Force Base’s C4 infrastructure under the sole-source contract.

The military branch’s 377th Mission Support Group is the contracting activity and has obligated $2.6 million at the time of award from fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance funds.

Chevy Chase, Maryland-based Abacus Technology maintains a portfolio of enterprise information technology, software and systems engineering, program management, strategic communications and research and analysis services.
