ITInmarsat and Actility have partnered to offer an integrated Internet-of-Things platform for organizations to connect their systems and manage connected devices.

The satellite communications firm seeks to combine its connectivity platform with Actility’s ThingPark long-range wide area network platform for IoT users, Inmarsat said Friday.

Inmarsat has also joined the LoRa Alliance with the goal of promoting the LoRaWAN connectivity standard.
