Kevin Neifert, formerly chief information officer of Raytheon’s integrated defense systems business, has been named CIO of the company.
Neifert will succeed and report to Rebecca Rhoads, Raytheon corporate vice president and president of the company’s global business services, Raytheon said Wednesday.
“As CIO of Raytheon, Kevin will help ensure we continue to leverage new technologies to drive innovation to meet our customers’ evolving needs while supporting our successful shared services strategy and business model,” Rhoads said.
Neifert previously served as vice president of engineering at Raytheon’s space and airborne systems, with responsibility in the development of advanced radar and electro-optical sensor systems.
He will assume the corporate CIO duties by Jan. 1.
