CGI Lands Recompete Contract for Marine Corps Logistics Support

LogisticsCGI has won a potential five-year, $19.6 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to provide software systems, engineering and logistics support services for Blount Island Command in Jacksonville, Florida.

Blount Island Command works to provide logistics support for the service branch’s Maritime Prepositioning Force with regard to the management of combat equipment and supplies, CGI said Tuesday.

The recompete contract has a one-year base term and four one-year options and covers support in six areas.

These include prepositioning objective tailoring, programming, automated identification technology deployment, technical data, logistics planning and logistics information support systems.
