Stephen Wilson, an almost 30-year financial management veteran, has joined the board of directors at Huntington Ingalls Industries.
“His vast and varied corporate financial background, combined with his business and board experience, make him a great addition to the HII board,” Chairman Thomas Fargo said Wednesday.
Wilson previously held leadership roles at PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Cadbury, RJR Nabisco, Footstar and The Reader’s Digest Association.
He has also served as chairman of the audit committee at Newport News Shipbuilding before the company became a division of Huntington Ingalls, as well as served on the boards of companies such as NatWest Bancorp, Reckitt & Coleman, Majesco Entertainment and Middlesex Mutual Assurance.
He is a current board member at Blue Man Productions.
Wilson graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.
