HARRIS1Harris Corp. has received a modification on its tactical radio contract with the Defense Logistics Agency that brings the total ceiling value up to $185 million and extends the period of performance through August 2016.

The company said Tuesday the $100 million increase from the initial $85 million base value works to facilitate flexibility in the procurement of Falcon radio spare parts by the U.S. Army and federal civilian agencies.

DLA originally awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Harris in 2011.
