Carahsoft Technology will distribute Text2Them’s two-way text messaging platforms to the public sector.
Text2Them said Monday its Text 2 Stop It system and other two-way messaging tools are designed to help students report incidents of bullying, drug abuse, suicides and assaults in their schools and colleges through anonymous text messages to school administrators and counselors.
Carahsoft will work to offer Text2Them’s text messaging tools to school systems nationwide through its collection of contracts such as the Virginia Information Technology Agency contract, Cooperative Purchasing Network contract, Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurements V contract and the Maryland Commercial-of-the-Shelf Software Master contract.
Several schools in Queen Anne’s County in Maryland are implementing the Text 2 Stop It platform as a pilot program.
