SES Receives Additional Satellite Order from US Central Command

satellite airforceSES Government Solutions has received a task order for an undisclosed amount to deliver additional Ku-band satellite services to the U.S. Central Command.

The order is for 288 MHz satellite capacity that is designed to help U.S. troops transmit and receive information, SES said Wednesday.

The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.

SES says it has been providing satellite services to the U.S. military for nearly 40 years.
