BoozAllenLogoBooz Allen Hamilton has opened the company’s Southeast Asia operations hub in Singapore as part of efforts to expand its business in the region.

Mike Jones, an executive vice president at Booz Allen, said Tuesday the company’s expansion in Singapore is intended to address the region’s demand for new technologies “to improve productivity.”

Don Pressley, a firm senior vice president who oversees the Singapore hub, said Singapore and its neighbors want to to modernize transportation, energy, healthcare, water and waste management services with data analytics.

“One example of that is the government of Singapore’s ongoing Smart Nation program, but it’s something we are seeing across sectors,” Pressley said.

“This inherent demand will require investments across the region in government reform, infrastructure, healthcare services, transportation, and advanced manufacturing, all of which are focused capability areas of Booz Allen Hamilton,” added Jones.
