A Parsons company has received recognition from the International Road Federation for the firm’s work on the Columbus Crossroads project in Columbus, Ohio.
IRF awarded Delcan the Global Road Achievement Award in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the fifth consecutive year, Parsons said Monday.
“Our innovations in quality oversight save our customers significant time and money while ensuring delivery of quality projects. This award is a resounding confirmation of our major accomplishments in the area of quality management,” said Todd Wager, a Parsons group president.
IRF recognized Parsons for the company’s oversight of Ohio’s I‑670/I‑71 interchange reconstruction project.
Parsons reconstructed 22 roadway bridges, 22 stabilized earth-retaining walls, a 6‑segment stormwater microtunnel and 8 adjacent surface streets.
