Oracle has introduced three software-as-a-service platforms for U.S. federal agencies to manage human resources, sales, accounting and other enterprise functions in the cloud.
The Oracle Government Cloud suite is designed to help agencies meet the U.S. government’s “First Cloud” policy and now includes Human Capital Management Cloud, Sales Cloud and Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud products, Oracle said Tuesday.
Mark Johnson, senior vice president for Oracle’s public sector business, said the additions are intended for agencies to adopt cloud-based information technology applications without compromising system performance and security.
The HCM system works to coordinate recruitment and skills development operations, while the ERP platform is built to support agencies’ enterprise processes and sourcing activities.
Oracle’s sales app is designed to help government organizations deliver services to citizens, as well as interact with the public over mobile and social networks.
