HPHewlett-Packard has updated its line of ProLiant servers as the company seeks to provide businesses with tools to cope with growing challenges of data center use.

The new ProLiant Generation 9 Server offers processing resources that aims to be accessed round the clock from anywhere via a cloud, HP said Thursday.

HP sought to acquire target gains in workload performance, information technology service delivery and compute capacity.

HP will showcase ProLiant Gen9, available starting Sept. 8, at next weeks’ Intel Developers Forum.
