Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies Inc. has been awarded a $76.8 million contract modification to continue developing instruments and software systems for NASA’s space mission program.
The Greenbelt, Maryland-based company will extend work to build technologies for data collection, data analysis and scientific result presentations under the Geophysics, Geodynamics and Space Geodesy Support Services program, NASA said Friday.
NASA intends for the modification to raise the contract’s value from $49.5 million to $76.8 million and Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies has started work for the four-year contract on Friday.
The company will perform work at NASA’s Greenbelt, Maryland-based Goddard Space Flight Center and at the SGT facility in Greenbelt.
