Stephan Thoma, formerly a global director of learning and development at Google, has joined European Leaders to lead its talent development division.
European Leaders also opened a Berlin, Germany-based Central European regional office led by Martin Buhl, a former Oracle executive, European Leaders said Thursday.
“The European tech space has never been more vibrant. But it will need great talent and inspirational leaders to keep it growing,†said Philip Randerson, managing director of European Leaders.
Thoma previously held various learning and development positions at Cisco, NTL, GE and 3Com before he joined Google.
“I want to bring the approach to talent development that American tech giants implement so well, and use it to help European tech organisations compete on a global stage,†added Thoma.
European Leaders also announced that it is moving into its new headquarters in London as part of its growth plan.
