ITCiber has deployed an SAP enterprise software suite for tire and rubber manufacturer Bridgestone ito manage its operations in Australia.

Bridgestone operates more than distribution facilities and stores across Australia and sought to centralize its operations there, Ciber said Monday.

“This implementation was a huge project requiring input from most areas of Bridgestone across Australia and New Zealand,” said Jonathan Bucktin, managing director for Ciber in Australia.

Ciber worked to deliver software for process integration, sales, merchandising, finance, warehousing and logistics functions.

The company also worked to replace legacy platforms with SAP’s enterprise resource planning program, which is meant for business systems related to banks, car manufacturers, freight forwarders, points of sale and fleet partners.
